Through technical and capacity building support, the Centre for Victims of Torture (CVT) Partners in Trauma Healing (PATH) program enables torture rehabilitation centres throughout the world to expand their ability to provide high quality mental health services to survivors (see http://www.cvt.org/partners-trauma-healing for more). In 2016 Tree of Life was selected as a PATH Partner, being one of just 3 Partners in Africa and 6 Partners globally (currently). From 24 April - 4 May 2017, CVT Program Evaluation Advisor, Laurel Lunn, visted Tree of Life in Zimbabwe. During her visit, Laurel worked extensively with the Knowledge Management Team and Programmes Team, focusing on strengthening our monitoring and evaluation systems. With increased learning being a key objective of our partnership, we also discussed future academic research possibilities, building on our previous research collaborations. Overall the visit was a huge success which will take Tree of Life's program evaluation to the next level! Thank you Laurel and CVT!
